   10 de mar. de 2003 · Naftali Temu, the first Kenyan to win an Olympic gold medal in the 10,000m, died today aged 58 after a long illness. He led an African sweep in the men's 10,000m in Mexico City in 1968, defeating Ethiopia's Mamo Wolde and Ron Clarke of Australia. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003 and died at a hospital in Nairobi.
