I found Nan Britton’s book truthful given the specificity of dates, people and locations. We know now that Elizabeth Ann was Harding’s child based on a 2015 DNA test. You wonder why she chose to publish her book though likely knowing she would be reviled and rejected by Harding’s family and political cronies after all her earlier efforts to obtain their financial help.
