Nick Laird is a lawyer, poet, novelist and critic from Northern Ireland. He has published two collections of poetry, To A Fault and On Purpose, and two novels, Utterly Monkey and Glover's Mistake. His work explores themes of home, flight, love and politics in a humorous and poignant style.
