CHOPIN, Frédéric. Biografía. Su padre, Nicolas Chopin (1771-1844), francés de nacimiento, emigró a Polonia en 1787; era profesor de francés. Fue preceptor en casa del conde Skarbek en Zelazowa Wola (a partir de 1802), y desde 1810 profesor de literatura y lengua francesa en el instituto de Varsovia y en la Escuela de Artillería.
