I am delighted to welcome you to Orchard Park High School; Orchard Park High School is a warm, happy and high achieving school, located in Shirley, Croydon. At Orchard Park, it is our vision that every student who belongs to our school community has a better chance of success than if they attended any other school.
The main portion of the current high school building was completed in 1960 and served until 1976 as the junior high school. In 1976, a large addition and renovation process doubled the size of the building, and it became the high school. The old junior high gym became the pool and the gym was added adjacent to it.
Orchard Park High School was formerly a foundation school known as Edenham High School. [4] It was Croydon's last remaining local authority secondary school, until it became an academy as part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust in September 2015.
