Owen Bush (November 10, 1921 – June 12, 2001) was an American actor. Born in Savannah, Missouri, he went on to have a lengthy career in television and film. He portrayed the pivotal character "Benson January" in the season 4 Maverick episode "Bolt From the Blue" written and directed by Robert Altman and starring Roger Moore.
Owen Bush was a knight of the Kingsguard during the reign of King Maegor I Targaryen. History. When Queen Alyssa Velaryon escaped from King Maegor I Targaryen's imprisonment, the king ordered his knights to give her son, Prince Viserys Targaryen, to his torturers to discover where she was hiding.
Bush kept on working steadily through the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, and most recently could be spotted in the movie "Best Laid Plans" and in a recurring role on the TV soap opera "Passions". One of the classic and most recognizable character actors, Owen Bush died on June 12, 2001, in L.A., aged 79.
