In the same year the former Preston Catholic College premises were relinquished, with the sole exception of the large sports hall in Garden Street which remained part of Newman College. At last, all 850- 900 students could be educated on the Lark Hill site. 1989 onwards .

1 de jul. de 2015 · About the memorial: The memorial was relocated to this site in1978 when the old school was subsumed into Cardinal Newman College. It was incorrectly reassembled at that time. A later move to over the main staircase allowed for correct installation. The Memorial has 5 panels, the central having the College Crest carved upon it.
