Rashid Alíyevich Siunyáiev (en cirílico: Раши́д Али́евич Сюня́ев) (Taskent, República Socialista Soviética de Uzbekistán, Unión Soviética, 1 de marzo de 1943) es un astrofísico ruso de ascendencia tártara. Desde 1992 pertenece a la Academia de Ciencias de Rusia.
Rashid Alievich Sunyaev (Tatar: Рәшит Гали улы Сөнәев, Russian: Раши́д Али́евич Сюня́ев; born 1 March 1943 in Tashkent, USSR) is a German, Soviet, and Russian astrophysicist of Tatar descent. He got his MS degree from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 1966.

[now in Uzbekistan]) is a Russian-German astrophysicist who, with Soviet physicist Yakov Zeldovich, first proposed the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect, in which distortions in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) are caused by clusters of galaxies.
