Ready Or Not was a commercial success, reaching number 27 on the US Billboard 200. It generated two hit songs. The lead-off single, "Midnight Blue", peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to the top of the Mainstream Rock chart. It has been Gramm's only song to have charted in the United Kingdom.

Nils Lofgren (nacido como Nils Hilmer Lofgren) ( Chicago, Illinois; 21 de junio de 1951) es un músico estadounidense, más conocido por ser el guitarrista y compositor de la E Street Band y por ser uno de los creadores de Crazy Horse y Grin.
Lofgren is credited on two of Lou Gramm's (of Foreigner) solo albums: Ready or Not released in 1987 (Lofgren listed as lead guitarist) and Long Hard Look released in 1989 (Lofgren listed as one of the guitarists). In 1987, he contributed the television show theme arrangement for Hunter.
His voice is lovely warm and nervous, easily one of the best vocalist in AOR. A solid US AOR/pop rock, with an hi-tech-oriented sound and an accurate commercial approach. Bruce Turgon on bass, Phil Ashley on keyboards, Nils Lofgren on guitars. (3,45/5,00)
