Santa Rosa Junior College is home to the Bear Cubs. They are part of the Big 8 Athletic Conference and are usually contenders in most junior college playoff games. They are well known for their football, baseball, soccer and wrestling programs. They have a long time rivalry with the Sacramento City College Panthers.
