Sara Simeoni (born 19 April 1953) is an Italian former high jumper, who won a gold medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics and twice set a world record in the women's high jump.
One of the dominant female high jumpers of the 1970s and 1980s, Sara Simeoni enjoyed a long career. Her first international tournament was the 1971 European Championship, while the last was in 1986, again at the Europeans.

15 de abr. de 2024 · Sara Simeoni (born April 19, 1953, Verona, Italy) is an Italian high jumper who won an Olympic gold medal and two silver medals in the 1970s and ’80s. At the 1972 Olympics in Munich, Simeoni advanced to the final round, where she finished in sixth place with a jump of 1.85 m (6 feet 3/4 inch) behind 16-year-old gold medalist Ulrike Meyfarth.
