He was born into this world at some point, in 1823 and he crossed-over, one final time to the Spirit world, on August 5th 1881.

  5. Hace 5 días · At a Pierre middle school, the 1870s came to life in the form of a cache of items that once belonged to Chief Spotted Tail – or Sinte Gleska. The collection includes a full set of clothing, arrows, a sage bundle, and a full-sized sacred eagle feather headdress once worn by Spotted Tail himself.

  7. 8 de may. de 2024 · Spotted Tail (Sinte Gleska) was a Sicangu Lakota statesman who befriended U.S. Indian Agent Maj. Cicero Newell. Spotted Tail gave a headdress, clothing, moccasins, and other accessories to Newell as a sign of his friendship. These items were passed down several generations in the Newell family.
