St. Kentigern's Academy is a Roman Catholic, comprehensive school in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland. The school was built in 1973 and refurbished in 1995/6. An extensive refurbishment of the school was completed in September 2009. In 2023 urgent repairs began at the school after RAAC was found in parts of the building.
About St Kentigern. L ike all Catholic schools our school is dedicated to a saint - in this case St Kentigern. W e owe our knowledge of St Kentigern's life to French monks in the Abbey of Kelso who wrote an account for the Bishop of Glasgow in the twelfth century.

7 de jun. de 2023 · A 14-year-old boy died in hospital after an "isolated incident" at St Kentigern's Academy in Blackburn, West Lothian. Police are investigating the full circumstances of his death and the school is providing emotional support to students and staff.
