St. Philip & St. Augustine Catholic Academy is the first to be formed in response to Cardinal Kevin Farrell's Blueprint for Excellence. Our Mission St. Philip & St. Augustine Catholic Academy promotes Gospel values, inspires a love of learning, and upholds academic excellence in a nurturing community.
<p>Saint Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter, and was initially a disciple of St. John the Baptist before Jesus called him to become one of the Twelve Apostles. He is remembered in scripture for bringing Saint Nathanael to Christ (John 1:45). Saint James was the son of Alphaeus and became one of the Twelve Apostles.
At St Philip’s School we believe that a close working relationship with parents and carers is one of the keys to making progress. Parents and carers are kept closely informed about their child’s progress through informal telephone conversations, termly interview days, annual reviews, pre and post-admissions meetings and school reports.
