13 de jun. de 2011 · The College of Saint Mary of the Springs formally opened in 1924, as a Catholic women’s college in Columbus, Ohio. In 1964, the College allowed men to enroll. Then in 1968 the College of Saint Mary of the Springs became Ohio Dominican College. Due to increased growth, Ohio Dominican College became Ohio Dominican University in 2002.

1 de nov. de 1995 · St. Mary's College. St. Mary's College at Dallas, a college for women, was founded by Alexander C. Garrett, bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Dallas. Construction began in 1886 on a site on Ross Avenue, but there were interruptions caused by lack of funds, and the building was not completed until the spring of 1889.
St. Mary’s is a college-preparatory school for girls 2-years-old through 12th grade. Admission to St. Mary’s is selective and is based on previous school records, personal interviews, teacher recommendations, and standardized testing.

Sr. Aloysius was another music teacher who was originally from Kentucky. 4 years after this photo was taken, Sr. M. Ambrose would fall ill and pass away at the age of 29.
