Founded in 1983 by Dr. Robert Lindsted, Sunrise Christian Academy started as a grade school emphasizing academic excellence and Biblical teaching. The school may have begun with just one teacher and six students, but as the years passed by, it has grown to include over 500 students on a campus spanning 18 acres!
The main goals of Sunrise Academy are to follow and implement Islam as a complete way of life as prescribed in the Qur’an and Sunnah to provide a high quality education, to instill a love of learning in the students, and to graduate students who will rely on Islam as a complete way of life.
Our Mission. In order to educate students in mind, body and spirit, SCA will come alongside parents to raise their children to relate to all men through a program that provides growth for wise living, strength for strong bodies, and depth in the knowledge of God and man.
