According to an interview Moore gave to NPR in 1995, the actress said the sponsors were worried her pants fit a little too snug around her rear end.

The payoff at the end is in the scene where the big boss tells him what a great job he had done (the changes the three ladies he actually made while holding him captive) and that he is then being transferred to Brazil, and Coleman played it brilliantly. You almost felt sorry for him.
