Rafael Nadal defeated Stan Wawrinka in the final, 6–2, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2017 French Open. [1] It was his record-extending tenth French Open title and 15th major title overall. Nadal became the first man to win ten singles titles at the same major.
French players have won the most French Open men's singles titles, with 38 victories, followed by players from Spain (20) and Australia (11). The current champion is Novak Djokovic , who beat Casper Ruud in the 2023 final.
