The Saint and the Brave Goose is a 1979 telefilm re-edited from a two-part episode of the Return of the Saint TV series starring Ian Ogilvy as Simon Templar. The film was also released theatrically in some markets and novelised as Salvage for the Saint in 1983.
Simon Templar competes in a speedboat race and witnesses one of his fellow competitors, Oscar West, in trouble. West's speedboat subsequently explodes. The coroner rules that it has been an accidental death, although no bodies were recovered.
