24 de feb. de 2023 · The Searchers was based on Alan Le May’s 1954 novel of the same name, and it shared similarities with the true story of Cynthia Ann Parker, who was kidnapped by Comanches as a child in the early 19th century and was mother to the warrior Quanah Parker.

Ethan spends five years on a lonely quest to hunt down the tribe that holds the girl Debbie ( Natalie Wood )--not to rescue her, but to shoot her dead, because she has become “the leavin's of a Comanche buck.”
