The Secret Life of Pets is an American media franchise created by Illumination, featuring a group of domesticated house pets who embark on various adventures. The franchise consists of two films, three short films, a video game, and a theme park attraction.
The characters are numerous and within the short 90 minute runtime, they give about 10-12 of them ample time to shine. Amist each of them get their funny moments and unique touches. It feels like a proper ensemble rather than limited to 2-3 main characters. Kevin Hart was a surprise.
