8 de may. de 2013 · A full reactivation of Pere Ubu began in 1988, with the recording of The Tenement Year. The band consisted of core members David Thomas, on vocals, trombone and melodeon; Allen Ravenstine on EML synthesisers and sax; Tony Maimone on bass and Scott Krauss on drums.

Late in 1987 the group recorded their next album, 'The Tenement Year.' Pere Ubu return to the apocalyptic dance of 1977, to the intricate balance of construction and collapse. Gone are the rebellious attitudes of the past, now replaced by cynicism and humour. The atonal synth of Ravenstine and Thomas' manic vocals remain the major focuses.
