Thursday October Christian II was the oldest one baptized among the initial group. He was over seventy years of age. The youngest baptized was ten-year-old Adelia or "Addie" McCoy. The following day, Sabbath, December 6, 1890, the Pitcairn Island church was organized.

Thursday October Christian II 1820–1911. Along with a number of other Pitcairners, he migrated to Tahiti in 1831, but having no immunity to the diseases of the island he died on 21 April. [2] At that point he had been "the oldest and perhaps the most respected of the first generation of native born islanders".
This time the leader of the young men identified himself as Thursday October Christian, the 25-year-old son of Fletcher Christian. By Thursday's own account, his father had indeed been killed on the island.
