Thomas Andrew Long (3 August 1968 – 4 January 2020) was an Australian film and television actor. He played court official and avid surfer Angus in the late 1990s TV series SeaChange and Brenden Abbott in the 2003 Australian TV movie The Postcard Bandit .
Australian actor Tom Long, a star of television series SeaChange and the film The Dish, has died aged 51 of encephalitis, five months after he was declared cancer-free. Long was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in 2012, and given just two years to live.

It was confirmed on the weekend that the 51-year-old actor, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2012, had passed away. Very sad to hear we have lost Tom Long. The sweetest man, and a fine, fine funny actor.
