He was a child of deaf parents who sang in sign language and discovered Disco Hound, a local DJ who introduced him to the Memphis rap scene. He recorded five solo albums and produced a soundtrack for a documentary, but his career faltered after a legal dispute with his label. Now, he is back with a new album and a new lease on life.
