Troy Kenneth Aikman (born November 21, 1966) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. After transferring from the Oklahoma Sooners, he played college football for the UCLA Bruins and won the Davey O'Brien Award as a senior.
Troy Aikman was the first overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft and led the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories in the 1990s. He retired with 32,942 passing yards, 165 touchdowns and a 81.6 passer rating.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
