Tsering Dolma (1919 - 21 November 1964) was the founder of the non-profit refugee organisation Tibetan Children's Villages and was the older sister of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzing Gyatso.
She is committed to working for the cause of Tibet with sincerity, dedication, and following the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Currently, she is a member of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile from Dhotoe province and also the Chair of the Local Tibetan Assembly at Shillong, Meghalaya.
3 de jun. de 2022 · Tsering Dolma left Tibet, the country of her birth, as a young child carried by her parents through the snowy mountains. It was 1959 and the family was fleeing the invading Chinese. Growing up in Nepal, Tsering was on track to fulfill her dream of finishing school and becoming a nurse.
Ms. Dolma Tsering Teykhang was born on 1st July 1956 at Dagne, Tibet. She completed her school education, followed by her bachelor’s degree and teacher training course with the kind help and blessing of His Holiness the great 14th Dalai Lama, and the Central Tibetan Administration.

Dance! Dance!, on view from May 8th to August 8th, 2021. The exhibition is a continuation exhibition which displays seventy-eight of the artist’s paintings on canvas, produced between 1984 and 2020, including her prominent Birth, Aging, Illness, and Death series (2013–2020).
