  1. Tsering Dolma (1919 - 21 November 1964) was the founder of the non-profit refugee organisation Tibetan Children's Villages and was the older sister of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzing Gyatso.

It was 1959 and the family was fleeing the invading Chinese. Growing up in Nepal, Tsering was on track to fulfill her dream of finishing school and becoming a nurse.

  4. Ms. Dolma Tsering Teykhang was born on 1st July 1956 at Dagne, Tibet. She completed her school education, followed by her bachelor’s degree and teacher training course with the kind help and blessing of His Holiness the great 14th Dalai Lama, and the Central Tibetan Administration.
