Sissoco Embaló was appointed as a Prime Minister, from November 2016 to January 2018. He was invested on 27 th February 2020 as the President of Republic and Head of the State of Guinea Bissau. Since July 2022, Sissoco Embaló is the Chairperson of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS.
