Renowned astrophysicist and one of the founders of theoretical astrophysics Victor Hambardzumyan was born on 5 (18) September 1908 in Tiflis. He was a graduate Leningrad State University. In 1934, he established and headed the first USSR Astrophysics Chair at Leningrad University.
Museum. The basis of the museum collection constitute 1755 objects - assemblages, flat and three-dimensional collages, drawings, dolls and film sketches, furniture, own things, which were transformed from Tbilisi to Yerevan during his lifetime.
