Les Rita Mitsouko fue un grupo francés formado en el año 1980. Era un dúo de autores, compositores e intérpretes de pop-rock compuesto por Catherine Ringer y Frédéric Chichin. El grupo llegó a su final con la muerte en 2007 de Chichin. Ringer por su parte, continúa con una carrera en solitario a raíz de unos conciertos que realizó en el 2008.
Variéty est le septième et dernier album studio des Rita Mitsouko, sorti en 2007. Fred Chichin meurt la même année d'un cancer foudroyant en novembre, soit quelques mois à peine après la sortie du disque 1 . Historique. L'album est réalisé sous la houlette de Mark Plati 2 et sort cinq ans après le précédent opus du groupe, La Femme trombone .
