A subject can be awarded either through a Distinguished Achiever award or as a Subject Rank award (top place in subject). Where students have equal numbers of subject awards, those with an All Rounder award are ranked higher.
Westfields Sports boasts a high performance facility capable of training a variety of fitness parameters. One part of this is "weight" training which is considered an important part of the Talented Sports Athlete Program. Students perform exercises that are age and strength dependent along the Long Term Athletic Development pathway (LTAD).

Not worth it. Horrible, the deputies and teachers do not have your children’s best interests. Seen so many amazing kids lose their spark and potential. All sport students and parents of sport students enrolling at Westfields Sports are required to sign a Code of Conduct, which reinforces the conditions of their participation in the Talented Sports Program. A condition of “out-of-area” entry to Westfields Sports High School is membership of a Talented Sports Program.
