Yang Shangkun (chino simplificado: 杨尚昆, chino tradicional: 楊尚昆, pinyin/Wade-Giles: Yáng Shàngkūn; Tongnan, 3 de agosto de 1907-Pekín, 14 de septiembre de 1998) fue un político chino. Fue presidente de la República Popular China entre 1988 y 1993.
Yang Shangkun (3 August 1907 – 14 September 1998) was a Chinese Communist military and political leader, president of the People's Republic of China from 1988 to 1993, and one of the Eight Elders that dominated the party after the death of Mao Zedong.
Yang Shangkun fue un político chino, presidente de la República Popular China entre 1988 y 1993, y uno de los miembros más poderosos de la "segunda generación" del Partido Comunista Chino. Fue el líder de la reforma militar, el "Ejército de la Familia" y el "Ejército de la Familia Yang". Conoció a Deng Xiaoping en 1926 y fue su alumno, amigo y colaborador.
