In honor of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz’s legacy as social movement leaders and trailblazing educators, The Shabazz Center has partnered with Scholly to offer three students funding ($10,000 each) toward their college degree.
BETTY SHABAZZ SCHOLARSHIP. This award is given in honor of Dr. Betty Shabazz, a notable member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Qualifying students must plan to major in the field of Mathematics, Science, or Technology and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).

19 de may. de 2021 · In an exciting announcement, The Shabazz Center has announced The Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Scholarship Fund, which will go to three lucky students.
Before her transition, Dr. Betty Shabazz established the Malcolm X Medical Scholarship program for outstanding students attending Columbia University—where the recipient must commit to provide medical service to the underserved for at least one year.
