After starting keeper Steve Clark went down injured at the end of the season, Stuver made his MLS debut against the New York Red Bulls on October 16. He saved an early penalty kick from Sacha Kljestan, but gave up a brace to Bradley Wright-Phillips in a 3–2 defeat.
