He averaged 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists on 47% shooting as a 21 year old in his second year in the nba, and seems to get little recognition. I never hear his name brought up in talks about rising stars in the nba despite his impressive stats for his age.
No, he's not. Brunson is an actual PG who can run an offense and pass the ball. Sexton is really a 2-guard stuck in the body of a PG. Sexton is a decent player for what he is, but what he is also happens to be probably the easiest void to fill in the NBA and you can do it without Sexton's horrible drawbacks like defense and size issues.

In that game, he dropped 42 points on 55.2% shooting, and had 5 rebounds and 5 assists to go along with his impressive scoring performance.
How do we feel about signing Collin Sexton (sign and trade with Cavs if they don't want to keep him)? He's coming off of injury, but he's an efficient scorer and has defensive capability. He's not really a PG, but he's young and may be able to grow into a PG. I can see the Knicks pursuing him if other options, like Brunson, don't work out.

Did this come out of nowhere? He was on waivers this morning without any news of this. robmorren2 4 mo. ago. He said he didn't reinjure it, but he didn't feel like it was full strength after the time he missed. Wants to take a week to make sure he's up to speed.
