  5. A note on international application review. Members of the Undergraduate Admissions staff have read and evaluated applications from all over the world, and we’re familiar with a variety of school systems and transcripts. All applications are reviewed by region.

  6. First-Year Applicants. We accept first-year applications from students who are hoping to enroll full time at Columbia College or Columbia Engineering. Our admissions staff reviews each application holistically and with care in order to understand what each candidate might contribute to our undergraduate community.

  7. The admissions process at Columbia is a holistic one, which means that all parts of the application help inform our evaluation. Columbia is test-optional and does not have a "cut-off" GPA or test score for admission, and academics are considered alongside the full application.
