While Laugher was having quite the time of it in 2015, diving prodigy Daniel Goodfellow was taking the whole of that year off with a nerve problem in his shoulder. Potentially career ending, surgery fixed the problem and the following year, Goodfellow had claimed Olympic bronze alongside Daley in the 10m platform synchro.
