Darren Ferguson (born 9 February 1972) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player, who is currently the manager of League One club Peterborough United, his fourth stint as manager of the club. In between his stints with Peterborough, he also managed Preston North End and Doncaster Rovers .

He has a new three-and-a-half-year deal to run until 2025, after leading Posh to promotion from League One for the third time in 2021. The club is 21st in the Championship and has a new stadium on the horizon.

He led Peterborough to four promotions in his three spells as manager, including from League One last season. He thanked the co-owners and the fans for their support and said he hoped the club could find a way to remain in the league.

The 50-year-old led Posh to successive promotions in his first two full spells and won five promotions in his career. He led Posh to the League One play-off final in 2021, but left for the first time in February 2015.
