16 de abr. de 2024 · The completion of the current stage, which began in the summer of 2023 and is set to finish by August, aims to have Gewiss fully operational for Atalanta by the start of the 2024/2025 season. The works focus on completely rebuilding the Curva Sud Morosini stand and its roof.
Following a sponsorship agreement with electronics company Gewiss lasting at least until 2025, the stadium was renamed the Gewiss Stadium on 1 July 2019. On 30 April 2019, a new phase of renovations began with the demolition of the Curva Nord "Federico Pisani" (North Stand).
2 de jun. de 2023 · Gewiss Stadium’s capacity will increase to 24,000 as a result of the completed project, which will include a new square outside of the ground. The project will also incorporate a wider renovation of the nearby area, including the market square and the Lazzaretto concert space.
Gewiss will support our club in a project that is close to the hearts of all our fans: the redevelopment of the stadium. For those passionate about the Nerazzurri colours, it is more than a stadium, it is Atalanta’s home, the home of all our fans, and which will be named the “Gewiss Stadium” from 1 July.
