Glenn Corbett (born Glenn Edwin Rothenburg; August 17, 1933 – January 16, 1993) was an American actor in movies and television for more than 30 years. He came to national attention in the early 1960s, when he replaced George Maharis in the cast of the popular CBS adventure drama Route 66 .
His film debut was in The Crimson Kimono (1959) . That was followed by supporting roles in The Mountain Road (1960) and Man on a String (1960). He eventually got the lead role in William Castle 's suspense thriller Homicidal (1961) and appeared in the TV series Route 66 (1960).
Corbett también trabajó junto a John Wayne en el film de 1970 Chisum, con el papel de Pat Garrett, y también en el de 1971 Big Jake, como O'Brien. Glenn Corbett falleció en San Antonio, Texas, en 1993, a causa de un cáncer de pulmón. Fue enterrado en el Cementerio Nacional Fort Sam Houston, en San Antonio.
