Jack Benjamin Simpson (born 18 December 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Leyton Orient. He began his career at AFC Bournemouth, where he made 35 appearances, including 11 in the Premier League, and scored one goal. In January 2021, he joined Rangers, where he won a Scottish Premiership title.
The former Cardiff City defender, who left the club in August 2023, was banned for six games and fined £8,000 by the FA for his abuse. He said he did not reflect his beliefs or character and hoped to play football again professionally.
Ex-Cardiff City player Jack Simpson has been charged with misconduct over the alleged use of racist language towards a team-mate while he was still with the Bluebirds in pre-season. The defender, 26, is a free agent and could sign for a club outside the transfer window. He made 23 appearances for Cardiff in 12 months.
