Robertson left his fingerprints all over two European Cup finals – scoring the winner against Hamburg in 1980 and setting up Francis to head in the only goal against Malmo the previous year. Clough called him “the Picasso of our game” and Forest’s trainer, Jimmy Gordon, once paid him an even higher compliment.
