Miklós Karoly Hargitay (January 6, 1926 – September 14, 2006), was a Hungarian-American [1] actor and the 1955 Mr. Universe. Born in Budapest, Hargitay moved to the United States in 1947 and eventually became a U.S. citizen. [2] He was married to actress Jayne Mansfield and is the father of actress Mariska Hargitay.
Mickey Hargitay was a Hungarian-born actor who appeared in films such as The Loves of Hercules and Delirium. He was also the father of actress Mariska Hargitay and the third husband of Jayne Mansfield, who died in a car crash in 1967.
