Morgan Seth Earp (Pella, Iowa, 24 de abril de 1851 - Tombstone, Arizona, 18 de marzo de 1882) fue un alguacil del viejo oeste estadounidense. Morgan Seth Earp (April 24, 1851 – March 18, 1882) was an American sheriff and lawman. He served as Tombstone, Arizona's Special Policeman when he helped his brothers Virgil and Wyatt, as well as Doc Holliday, confront the outlaw Cochise County Cowboys in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral on October 26, 1881.
On March 18, 1882, Ike Clanton and four henchmen took revenge. While Morgan Earp was playing pool at Campbell and Hatch’s Saloon in Tombstone, Ike Clanton and the other four men shot and killed him. He was just 30 years old. Morgan’s body was then transported to California, where he is buried at Hermosa Cemetery in Colton, California.
Morgan Earp is one of the legendary Earp brothers whose story has been told in the book ‘The Earp Brothers of Tombstone,’ believed to have been written by his sister-in-law. His life has been portrayed in the TV series ‘The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp’ and in the movie ‘Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.’
