The Nassau Community College - SUNY Empire State University Multi-Award Nursing Program (NCC - ESC) is a dual-degree, Multi-Award program, with the Associate in Science 1 (A.S.) degree awarded by NCC at the completion of the fifth semester.

  2. Note: Students must complete at least 33 credits at Nassau Community College and 45 at Empire College. Depending on placement; Courses have clinical placement. NURS 4015 Community Health Nursing: 45 clinical hours; Courses have clinical placement. NURS 4020 Baccalaureate Capstone: 90 clinical hours

  3. Students attending Nassau Community College can apply to the NCC-ESC Nursing program by means of a Change of Program through the Nursing Department. Requests for Change of Program to Nursing will be accepted in Feb/March (dates TBD) to be considered for the Fall semester and September/October (dates TBD) to be considered for Spring semester.

  5. The NCC nursing program is going to give students the chance to take part in a multi-award-winning program. Students can pursue both associate’s degrees in nursing and bachelor’s degrees in nursing at this school. The bachelor’s degree program is made possible by SUNY Empire State College.
