30 de oct. de 2023 · Death and Legacy. Norma Shearer died on June 12, 1983, at the age of 80. The cause of death was bronchial pneumonia complicated by Alzheimer’s disease. She had been suffering from dementia for several years before her death. She was buried next to Thalberg at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. Arrougé died in 1985.
