Oundle School has long been associated with the very best of modern independent education, especially boarding. We take seriously our responsibility to our pupils so that they can emerge as decent, open-minded adults: ambitious about what they can go on to achieve and contribute, but never arrogant.

- About Us
Oundle School is a public school (English fee-charging boarding and day school) for pupils 11–18 situated in the market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire, England. [1] The school has been governed by the Worshipful Company of Grocers of the City of London since its foundation by Sir William Laxton in 1556.
Our story. Oundle traces its history back to 1556, when Sir William Laxton, Lord Mayor of London and Master of the Worshipful Company of Grocers endowed a ‘Free Grammar School’ in Oundle, where he had been educated at the original Gild School founded in 1506.
The Work in Progress exhibition is now on at the @oundleschoolyarrowgallery.🖌️ This is a brilliant opportunity to see what innovative and dynamic work Lower Sixth pupils from Oundle School, Kings School Peterborough and Prince William School have created.🎨 The exhibition also includes work from Community Action (CA) pupils who created work for Volunteer Action Oundle.
