12 de jul. de 2022 · Owen Wijndal signed a five-year contract at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Tuesday. The 22-year-old left wing back played several times for AZ and the Dutch national team in Amsterdam, but will do so wearing an Ajax kit for the first time this coming season.
Ahead of the 2021–22 season, Wijndal was made captain of AZ following the departure of Teun Koopmeiners. Ajax. On 12 July 2022, he joined Eredivisie club Ajax from AZ on a five-year deal for €10 million. He made his debut on 30 July, starting in the Johan Cruyff Shield against PSV.
