The center will be the first purpose-built structure for music at Andover and part of a new cultural corridor on campus.

The 250-seat John Barry Performance Hall, a recording studio, and a rock room are among the features of the 30,000-square-foot facility, which will open in fall 2024.

The facility will feature a 250-seat performance hall, flexible ensemble spaces, classrooms, practice rooms, a music library and more.

The music education and performance building that is under construction at Phillips Academy Andover will be named Falls Music Center. The building will be named for Amy Falls, the current president of the Board of Trustees and a 1982 Phillips Academy graduate.
