Stephan Eberharter (* 24. März 1969 in Brixlegg) ist ein ehemaliger österreichischer Skirennläufer. Er gewann eine olympische Goldmedaille, drei Weltmeistertitel und entschied in den Saisonen 2001/02 und 2002/03 den Gesamtweltcup für sich. Hinzu kommen der fünfmalige Gewinn einer Weltcup-Disziplinenwertung und 29 Weltcupsiege.

A member of the Wunderteam he was encouraged to ski from a very early age by his father and two brothers and participated in his first competition at the age of six.
Biography. At the 1991 World Championships, a 21-year-old Stephan Eberharter was the biggest surprise, winning two World titles (Super G, combined), without having ever won a World cup race. But after a series of injuries, Eberharter found himself outside of the Austrian team, and off the World Cup circuit.
